As if on cue, she came around the bend. I’ve mentioned fate quite a few times in these entries, along with the fact that I am not a believer. However, if there is some kind of higher power, in this moment, they were looking out for me. As the sunset transformed the sky into a beautiful tapestry, the clouds that had covered the sky nearly all day began to recede. The stars truly had to align for the Big U to have just so happened to have come into view in that moment. It was the best sendoff I could have hoped for.
